Thank you Sark

In 2010 and 2011, Sark had to play 3 and 4 star true freshmen, like Sean Parker, Colin Porter, Erick Kohler, Danny Shelton, and Haoli Jamora (Kikaha) because the veterans left behind by Ty were so bad.
In contrast, Petersen seems to have confidence in the veterans he has inherited.
Sark did leave the campsite better than he found it.

It's a low bar when you're doing better than Willingham.
You have seen the 2015 projected OL/DL lineup, no?
-
Hi Kim!
-
Yea because when Sark got there he only had 8 players who are playing or have played 1 snap in the NFL.
NYBE. -
I thought you were PRO Sark
-
Aubbie ... stick to your strengths ... whatever those may be
-
You're ok on the DawgFag boards because you actually call Kim on his bullshit from time to time, but if you're actually trying to talk Sark up here then even my 8 post homo ass can tell you to fuck right off.
-
Gratitude because he wasn't the program-destroying grim reaper Willingham was?
Fuck off, Aubie. Your standards should be much higher than that. -
That's fine. Thanks for doing a job you were hired to do at a level that can best be described as middling.
No one in their right mind thinks Sark did everything wrong. It's just that we want a great coach and he isn't a great coach. However, Doogies worshipped him from his KAP on as if he were Pete Carroll without any evidence.
Doogs always saw him as working slowly toward perfection, whereas the fuckwits around this place rubbed their two brain cells together and could see that his performance fluctuated wildly around an average that was... well, average-ish. Further, I think us fuckwits saw him as not capable of greatness, never took the things he did right as signs of anything other than fluctuation and still saw the underlying issues and the pitfalls as equally indicative of his lazy bullshit style of coaching.
In sum, what a cool day for Sark, man! Props on a message board from a guy who thinks, all things considered, he's a dickwad.
I should be so lucky. -

And I still wanted Sark fired after the UCLA game.
But he did leave behind lots of good players -
Also, please spell our fucking players' names right if you're going to use them as an example of someone who you think is good. If you can't learn to spell, there's a whole site where people can't spell because they're fucking dunces.Auburndawg said:Erick Kohler, and Haoli Jamora (Kikaha)

How hard was that Auburn? You said it yourself, Ty ' s veterans stunk...like Kearse, Polk, Locker and the rest who nearly beat LSU, Notre Dame and did beat USC, twice. Fuck you and this poor dead - horse argument , which has been beaten so badly. Sark underachieved with Ty ' s 0-12 team. Remember Les saying "that was an 0-12 team"?Auburndawg said:Everyone here knows I was not pro-Sark. But he gets credit for leaving the shelves stocked.

Sark left a bare trenches cupboard (after this year, BARE! Thank goodness Pete restocked them. Fuck Will Dissly is in thetwo deeps. TThat's not a stocked cupboard. Matt James r epping with the 2's? Not a stocked cupboard. A redshirt freshman QB possibly starting at Hawaii? Not a stocked cupboard. Sark horribly mismanaged the qb situation. We should be playing for a conference title THIS YEAR!!!!! We wowon't because Sark DIDNT leave the cupboards stocked like you said Aubbie...back to posidog.com with ya!! -

I was playing golf this weekend with a former player and we talked about the outlook for the season, state of the program, etc.
Random conclusions were as follows:
Poised to win 10 games this year w/ 11 the mark IF we beat Stanford and UCLA at home (which we have a good shot in both games)
Sark did the job that he was hired to do to get the program on better footing but there was something clearly not right about the mix particularly our performance on the road
Petersen has brought discipline and structure back to the program which was sorely lacking
Edit: Another topic that we talked about was player development and getting players that fit what it is that you're trying to do - Petersen's track record at Boise speaks volumes ... specifically citing a player like Ryan Clady as a guy that if he was viewed as being worth a damn every school in the PAC would have been all over yet he goes to Boise and is a Top 5 pick in the draft
We're both doogish on the season ... could be a special year on Montlake -
DL will take a dip in 2015, but I love the freshman DL class that Peterman brought in. I'm really excited about Vea, McGary, Dissley, Gaines, Johnson, and Bowman. The coaches seem high on them too, judging by their quotes.GrundleStiltzkin said:It's a low bar when you're doing better than Willingham.
