    For what job? Some of their assistants might be good assistants at UW, but there isn’t anyone on their staff I’d want as head coach.

    Head coach. I read this on CBS Sports, Moorhead as a candidate:

    "Joe Moorhead, Oregon offensive coordinator: This isn't Alabama hiring Auburn's offensive coordinator. The Oregon-Washington rivalry doesn't run that deep. This is Washington trying to stabilize himself. Moorhead has put together a Broyles Award-level season guiding the Ducks offense through injuries and his own absence due to major surgery. Moorhead's calling card is an ability to adjust to the personnel around him. Check out how he has managed quarterback Anthony Brown."

    It's a condescending statement. He really means the west coast doesn't have real football like we do in the east.

    I agree. Moorhead is new to the area - 2nd year at Oregon and has spent the rest of his coaching career on the other side of the country, including 2 years as HC at Mississippi.

    SEC fandom is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced on the West Coast.

    If they had a Kirby Smart or Lincoln Riley level coordinator on staff, then sure, I could get on board.

    But Moorehead? His offense is above average but nothing special, and he was a clear failure at Mississippi State when he finally got his HC opp. That would be an F hire.
