As Race pointed out, you could find a successor without a single blip on his or her resume, and the left would go all in to destroy that candidate. I suppose you could argue that Trump is the most polarizing and as such should not run again but what does it matter if they're going to be triggered to the point of murder anyway? It's genuinely puzzling to me why #TeamMAGA doesn't want to find a successor to Trump, instead of trotting out the guy himself after failing to win.

How? He didn't control Congress or the Supreme Court. He was stuck with executive orders - which were all legal unlike Biden's OSHA covid crap. You know who was an embarrassment? Mike Pence who was this nice guy. You still haven't gotten into policies which like Race says is what is important. Until Trump, there wasn't one other candidate in the race that wanted to take on China. Who would have taken out Soleimani? Who went after NATO for reneging on their commitments? Jeb Bush?
