You seem focused on federal income taxes. Washington state just levied a .6% payroll tax that is allegedly for long-term care, but after analysis it doesn't seem to help much. I don't remember voting on it. State and local taxes are part of the overall tax burden.HHusky said:

It's boondoggle after boondoggle out here. We're building 150 billion dollar train from Bakersfield to Merced while complaining about water shortages. You could spend half that money on an aquaduct that solves the problem for good, but we won't.
It's frustrating as fuck, but people like you rush to defend your Masters and want to give them more. -

Just look at the slobberer. West Linn spends over $15,000 a year per student. So, a class of 25 12 year olds has $375,000 to spend. Where does it go?
