If I were a UCLA fan I'd push hard for his firing as Chip has been coasting in retirement mode this entire time and has the worst record in history there. Then I'd kill myself for being a UCLA fan.
As a UW fan with competing interests, I hope he wins out to get to 8 and keep them off the market for a new HC. -
In POG's defense, giving Chip one more year isn't a horrible idea, considering USC, Washington, LSU, Auburn, Florida, and Penn St. could all be looking for new hires.
