    Tom Herman?

Hiring fired coaches is a big-time move
    Just say no to retreads.
This Tom Herman shit is obnoxious. He had one "good" year at Texas and was wildly mediocre for the other three. And that's to say nothing of the off field nonsense and his batshit crazy wife. And as bad as Sark is, the team that Herman left him is so chalk full of dipshits that it's plainly obvious that the Herman regime was overflowingly toxic.

Everyone needs to just shut the fuck up about Herman. Fuck that guy.

You could argue Clay Helton was better at USC than Herman was at Texas. No.

Herman, 46, might be the most attractive candidate currently without a head-coaching job. He's considered an offensive innovator and excellent recruiter. He set all sorts of offensive records at Iowa State, to the point that Urban Meyer brought him to Ohio State as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

He stayed at Ohio State for three seasons, most notably helping the Buckeyes win their last national championship in 2014 while using two backup quarterbacks when injuries struck and being named the country's top assistant coach.

That earned Herman the head-coaching job at Houston, where he went 13-1 and 9-3, which brought him to Texas. He went 7-6, 10-4, 8-5 and 7-3, winning all four bowl games — and the Longhorns got rid of him. He's now an offensive analyst for the Chicago Bears.

Even though they gave up around 50 to NC last weekend, I would just go break the bank for the Wake Forest coach. One 10 win season ever at that school and he's like 8-1 with a semi-unique offense. Apparently other schools have tried to get him but still.
