Nothing, absolutely nothing, is done in the UW AD or football program without some hedging. They're hedging their bets on the QB situation just like the AD and upper campus are hedging on Lake and Cohen. Every sensible way of looking at the situations screams for replacing the QB and firing both of them. I agree that if Huard is good, the redshirt doesn’t matter. That said, it is nice to have. I’m torn between letting him go or possibly letting O’Brien get a couple starts to get some good tape for NFL scouts. The team comes first, but going with O’Brien might be the best of both worlds. Either one before Morris. Even if it goes horribly, I won’t be mad about Morris sitting.NEsnake12 said:

whoever the QB is ASU is going to blitz very play and kill the QB and any confidence said QB had prior to Saturday.
Throw DMo at them so he will never want to play again.
Put the transfer in for one game so he will retire from FB
Spare Sam for the week after -
I think Junior will start O'Brien because he wants to throw a big FU at Jimmy. When O'Brien looks like Joe Montana compared to Dylan and Junior knows this, he will make Jimmy look like more of a fool, then he already does.

Seems pointless to waste Huard's redshirt over a lost season. Plus, he's going to be learning a new system next year.
