What I’m hearing
Bill is tired of New England and Saban is interested in being Bill’s DC again but at the college level. It’s early in the process but I’m hearing this from lots of @Sources.

Word out of Florida is a certain QB is thinking he’ll retire if they make a deep playoff run and that he’s interested in coaching Sam. There’s a possible connection between this QB and Damon

On the defensive side, Ty Law is raving about reuniting with Bill and would love to apprentice under Saban. Teddy Brewski is another name too lion for. He knows Arizona isn’t serious about football but wants to stay in the PAC-12 and the rumor is he really really respects Washington.
To sweeten the pot, Jen is offering to lure a certain all tim great RB into coaching (hint: he played at UW and might have a SB ring under Bill <———— another $75k).
This thing has legs and it wouldn’t surprise me to see it come together in the next 48-1,024 hours.

It’s been a crazy 24 hours but it’s what we do and we’re good at it so trust us and trust the process. <———$75k
Another name we’re hearing on the defensive side is that of a former UW player. We can’t you his name just yet but I can give you some ambiguous clues. He was part of the 91 team, was a 1 star diamond in the rough who developed in a very high draft pick. Some might say you can’t get much higher.
On the offensive side, the staff is coming into shape. Besides the QB and RB coaches mentioned yesterday, another former player or 2 are being mentioned as co-TE coaches. Most of the lunatic fringe fans will scream bloody murder but this offense will be very TE heavy and the 2 names we’re hearing bring a lot of character to the staff. They’ll both be great roll models for the roster. 1 name I’ve been told is a lock is Kevin Ware and I wasn’t the 2nd name but was given a clue that I haven’t deciphered yet. Something to do with Arby’s sandwiches.
As for the remaining offensive staff, OC, OL, and WR. Things are fluid. If you can’t handle the ups and downs of a coaching search, take a walk for perspective. We don’t want to put anyone in timeout again but we’ll have short trigger fingers for anyone using profanity or calling posters or staff names. <———$75k
And one other thing, there was a nasty rumor going round about Fetters. It is not true that he was banned by all Golden Corral franchises in Washington - it’s just a nasty rumor started by Ruth based on a little confusion. He was simply banned from the all you can eat buffets. Some of you need to learn the difference. -
Don’t have much time but things are heating up. Fleenor’s been hanging around the AD’s or at least he was until UW PD showed up and escorted him off campus. He didn’t learn anything new but will post an update once the news hits the media and then tell us he knew it all along but couldn’t tell anyone yet.

Some developments we’re hearing about after Fleens was escorted off campus.
Look for former UCLA coach Jim Mora to end up taking the UConn job.
Willie Taggert has reached out to UW and is interested in getting back to the west coast. He told Jen that 3rd time will be a charm for UW and black coaches. Jen is definitely weighing her options and hasn’t turned down Taggert just yet.
Speaking of weighing options, everyone should congratulate Fetters on his weight loss. He’s finally under 470!
No further word on the Bellicheck situation other than hearing that Bill Gates is ready to step up with some financial support.
