I don't know. It feels like Jimmy would think that the ultimate gamesmanship would be doubling down in statement that you're not making a QB change and then making the change because that's the kind of shit you need to do to beat one of the worst teams in recent Pac-12 history.

Regarding Jimmies changing his mind on things one thing that bugged me was that in the preseason he did a whole thing about calling Oregon "the team down south". I'm sure alot of you are too cool to think that's a fun thing to do with rival but I kinda liked it and was ready for the team to care about the game at least. He called them that all pre season and I'm pretty sure in the first part of the season and then randomly the other week he just blurted out "Oregon".

I don't know why @sonics1993 and @AcropolisJr are always mentioned in the same breath. The former has given us plenty of actual insider info. The latter hasn't ever posted jack shit here. He's as much of an insider as @FireCohen.
