Deeper than his point is that social media facilitates people seeking out groups who all think alike and attempt to destroy those who don't agree. I've been saying for close to 10 years now that social media is what is destroying the country. Not really a hot take, but they need to be dismantled.

Social media reveals who we are it doesn't shape who we are

Like internet football fans - fans have always wanted to fire the coach after every loss they just didn't have anywhere to say it. Now they do

There's always been the Nation on one side and the WSJ on the other. This isn't such a new phenomenon.

Being online multiple hours of the day, and constantly connected via news notifications on your iPhone - That's the problem.

Nobody has time to think or reflect. So they just spew.

Anonymity of the internet enables a lot of it, for sure. I get that there's always been a Hatfield and McCoys thing in the US. Social media platforms almost solely exist to exploit that phenomenon. Being able to remain anonymous while also spewing hate/misinformation and have it seen instantly by thousands or millions of people all at once. Gee, what could go wrong? I don't know how anyone could argue that disbanding social media would be bad for the US.

People tend to think of Cronkite as a centrist and news as being straight back in the day but he wasn't and it wasn't. Nowhere near to what it is today but it was a monopoly and that isn't good
The WaPO and NY Times and the three networks covered the same stories each day and what they didn't cover was as important as what they did

Rush Limbaugh earned the absolute hatred he received by ending the monopoly and exposing the managed consent. Managed consent had been a thing in the 60's but as we would find out the 60's "radicals" didn't really want to fight the power they wanted to control it

And they would without the internet. They already try to rewrite or ignore history that shows them to be hypocrites or worse. You have AXIO scrubbing old issues off the net.

Most people would prefer to feel like their opinions make them better than others. Hence, “everyone else is a coward but I’m the one with the truth!”

Now, there is a classic weak lame ass moral equivalency argument. There is no "truth" on the left. Just lies and the seeking of power. You are a coward and you avoid the truth like a slug avoids salt.

Weird how kobe hates it when black people speak for themselves

When a black says he doesn't want his kids taught to hate white people and that people should be judged on the content of their character and not their skin color then they are not authentically black as defined by leftards like the slobberer.

This is the part where they bring up race because they lost the argument.

I asked a clarifying question. I'm sure you don't get triggered by someone like Jordan Peterson because they refused to be bullied by trans activists, or a guy like Zuby because he's speaking his mind but not spouting out ibrahim kendi quotes. Just seems weird that it bothers you so much, and is it a coincidence that he's black?

This is where the slobberer avoids the topic and then "wins" the argument. His opinion is truthful that CRT should be taught in school and that whitey is the devil. No facts are necessary just a wad of feelings.

The complete lack of self awareness. To say in one breath “people would rather be in the majority than right” and then claim that you’re ACTUALLY the majority but it’s just silent would be hilarious if he wasn’t a real person.

That's fair, I asked and you answered.
Don't write this guy off just yet, as I did recently with Devin Culp.
He's independent and I suspect not all of his opinions are going to mesh with the red meat crowd.

    I see it differently.
