This is nonsense. It’s been explained millions of times that we are drawing a distinction between sex and gender and that gender represents the social expectations that we have. But even if you object to that concept it’s still a garbage argument because it doesn’t go anywhere.

He’s saying that sex and gender are the same thing but no one on the left is arguing that you can change your biological sex. Even if we all agreed they’re the same word, it in no way addresses that society has certain expectations for men and certain expectations for women and some people feel like the box they were put in when they were born doesn’t actually fit them and they would rather be viewed in the other box.
