So many times we looked at a McGrew run and said “Newton would have been tackled earlier.”

The OL is terrible and McGrew is the only one that can make himself small and gain 2-3 yards. Newton gets zero in those plays.
Despite the fumble, Pleasant is the 2nd best back and is actually a decent receiver and at times shows some moves in space. He sucks as a runner tho and mostly tiptoes. -

They haven’t been coached up. This current OL looked pretty good last year and has gotten worse. Buelow is starting over Ale and is horrible.haie said:

We have some good OL. Fautanu was a stud and won his match up in high school with a 5 star DE. I would love to see him at LT and Kirkland take Buelow’s spot at guard. Muruao was also a very good high school OL.
We have also seen Mele play well when given a chance. I’m not sure what Buelow has done to keep getting ran out there. He’s a liability. -

I think a lot of those guys have the "nasty" factor too. The starters? Hell no! Kirkland is fake nasty. I don't want to call them soft but I get that vibe from guys like Bain, Wattenburg, and Buelow. Curne is a mystery to me.haie said:
