Their defense is bad. They were always feast or famine when they were average. It's not play calling. You can't call plays that you don't have. What's amazing to me is that in just one week (maybe they've been working on it for the last two, since the Montana game and it just wasn't ready last week), they've installed a spread RPO offense and are making it work.
