CNN is openly talking about the treasonous actions by Milley that are apparently something to be proud of.

This is just like the Obama wire tap into Trump campaign, where liberals think it was justified because he was a threat (we know now how they got approval was made up on bogus dossier) and conservatives think it was spying.

I know many of the senior flag officers in the military personally. I've worked for a few of them, and worked around many of them. There are still some good ones left, but it is getting rare. Obama made it a point to remake promotion boards during his time in office, with the express purpose of changing the 80-20 Rep-Dem belief structure at the top. Huge focus on promoting women and people of color no matter their qualifications. The US's last true meritocracy is going the way of the dodo bird.
You get what we have now. Feckless and mildly incompetent leadership promoted more for their physical characteristics and personal politics than their warfighting and leadership abilities. I have accepted it. The military is full of weak leadership at the top. Sycophants and yes men. The middle leadership group is still relatively competent (0-4 to 0-6), but it's bad at the top.
All that said, never thought I would live long enough to see a 4 star go rogue like this. MacArthur was fired for less. If Milley had any personal honor, which he doesn't (I know a former Adjutant of his well and he says he is nothing but a careerist piece of shit) of course, he'd resign in shame for helping America's enemies. Instead he will be celebrated by the left and go on book tours and hang out with Oprah. After selling out America and defying the oath he took.
If I cared anymore I'd weep for the future of this country. -
