If we made a miraculous hire and went on say…an Oklahoma like run (we’re never going on an Alabama or Clemson run) I truly believe we would end up self reporting some minor bullshit and impose a bowl ban of some sort.
I don’t think upper campus wants to be terrible but they clearly don’t want to be good. The women’s soccer team needs some funding, but that can be accomplished by averaging 60k fans who pay to see a 7-5 team that has the ability to surprise and compete for the north every 4 or 5 years with a 9-3 record.
Pea patch to finally end all of our misery is never going to happen. Our next renovation will reduce stadium capacity to 40k and the remaining space will be used as a homeless shelter.

Last report I saw showed that the UW Athletic Department made more money than any other school in the Pac12, with Oregon a close second.

The AD & School Prez won't make any changes as long as that continues to be the case. They don't care about the FB team winning -- they care about there being enough $ for all of the other sports programs like girls softball and swimming.
