Last time you got to feel good about this program?

Oregon wins at Ohio State and I’m sure their fans feel on top of the world. Even in 2016 we never got to feel like that. What was our biggest win that season Colorado? Utah?
I can’t believe how much I fucking hate being a fan of this program. We won a Rose Bowl my freshmen year at UW and I thought I’d be going back to Pasadena at least a few times a decade. Now I live in Oregon and a tiny part of me thinks “maybe I can just pretend to be a Duck fan? No one would know.” But that thought actually makes me suicidal.
I’m just gonna say I went to like Whitman and don’t really care about college football.

The only thing upper campus will listen to is money. Empty seats will speak volumes

Colorado putting up a better fight against A&M than we did against Montana.

Probably the 2003 Apple Cup
I felt reasonably good after the 2016 Oregon game -
How much do people in seats even matter financially anymore? Every team gets TV money and if butts in seats means anything they can always rely on Seattle/Husky Stadium being enough of a draw that visiting teams will always be well represented, especially if they know it’s an easy win. That formula has kept the Mariners going despite never winning anything. They’d gladly lose 2/3 home games in front of a bunch of Blue Jays fans.

Losing the apple cup in 08 is very close

Same. 2016 oregon was highpoint of the decade.DerekJohnson said:Probably the 2003 Apple Cup

I admit, I was definitely elated to hang 70 on Oregon, but that was a bad Oregon team. Plus that was probably the nail in the coffin that made them realize handing over the keys to an in over his head assistant was a bad idea. At least they got a few good years out of their bad hire.

This a GOOD UW progrum.

Serious question......is Jimmy a worse head coach than Willie Taggart? I know that Willie would recruit circles around Jimmy at least.
-
2001 Rose bowl was the last time I felt UW was in it's right place.
Then the NCAA tournament bracket bull shit made me understand that UW doesn't give a shit about football firing Coach RN.

Willie was a fraud.
We’re finding out if Jimmy is too.
But at least Willie could recruit a little for the next guy…. -
I was 10. Even then I falsely believed it would be like that forever. Tyrone Wheatley broke my brain for a while a year later.RaceBannon said:January 1, 1992

When we annihilated Arizona last year in custom Adidas uniforms holding them to like -10 yards at half. The media who care about the Pac 12 were saying we were the best team in the conference.
We had quooks making Tik Tok videos outside our stadium whining about how we didn't deserve the north title because we didn't have to leave Seattle.
Didn't look like Jimmy was shut tier in that moment. Yes Stanford was fucking brutal fuck off.
Which reminds me of my low point: Stanford game 2017.
