How much money does it cost to make a sandwich and throw in a cookie and an apple? If you can't do this, then don't have kids. Having others pay for your kids while you have a car, AC, a smartphone, and a hair stylist and weekly manicures should be an embarrassment. Had a neighbor whose kids were on the free lunch program at school. If you are on food stamps, that should be enough. If you are unemployed, the one thing you have is plenty of time. Start making sandwiches. Between 1st grade and 7th grade I must have had a well over a 1000 peanut butter sandwiches for my school lunch. If the school district can’t get apples, bread or spam, you won’t be finding those items either -
Apples, bread and spam seem to be quite available in our stores. Milk, pop and eggs running thin. Lots of peanut butter.
