“No, just smarter, apparently”
Silence.
Got backlash twice this weekend for not wearing a mask.

Yeah, voting for a dementia patient and ignoring actual science reeks of class (not really), it reeks of proud ignorance and stupidity. Let us know how a mask with filtration pores substantially larger than a virus particle works to protect? Don't hurt yourself. When you feel this strong about something, you would think that you would take some time to learn about some pretty basic sh*t.TheKobeStopper said:Not classy.

I went to dinner on Saturday with 2 very successful and intelligent couples Saturday. During the inevitable C19 discussion, both couples insisted the Delta variant was not only significantly more contagious but that it was also much more deadly as they denigrated my natural immunity from having survived the apparently much less deadly strain. I told them I was pretty sure they were wrong about that and then asked them a simple question to which they had no answer. If the Delta variant is so much more deadly and responsible for pretty much all the cases in 2021, then why are there only 200,000 deaths in '21 than the 650,000 we had in '20? Shouldn't we be at about 450,000 by now?RaceBannon said:UW_Doog_Bot said:

Do we have total death from anything counts for '20 and current counts for '21 yet? -
No excess deaths in '20. Normal death totals. Only 1080 cases of the Flu instead of 60-80 million which is the norm IIRC. It's a miracle! But the PCR test doesn't know the difference between the flu and the China virus.RoadTrip said:

It's is more contagious, just not as deadly.

Your friends are stupid, @RoadTrip.
Maybe nice, maybe well-off, maybe "educated," but still just wandering sheep plagued by in-group bias and cognitive dissonance.
Sad. -
Stuffed with a wad of feelings and proudly ignorant. No intellectual curiosity, no understanding of basic science and yet a lifetime of hugs, ribbons and Capri Sun leave them with this huge sense of moral superiority.TurdBomber said:Your friends are stupid, @RoadTrip.
