The comparisons to Ty are solely due to the lazy, arrogant approach to recruiting and the shitty staff hires. Ty thought he was so special that players should recruit the program, not vice-versa. He acted like he didn't need to work for high end recruits because 1) He was above it, and 2) lightly recruited players who wanted to be at UW would be better.DerekJohnson said:

The word "lazy" in particular is one known to get the hackles up, yet it came up early and often, in a way that made it seem as if conclusions were being jumped to. Comparisons to Ty aren't helping those optics, either, particularly because their respective incompetence is nothing alike.
Lake needs to be fired. Today. Cohen is ultimately responsible, so start with her. New coach can choose what assistants to boot or keep. But this message would resonate better with some fans and former players if the critics focused from the beginning on coaching, hiring, and, sure, recruiting incompetence instead of, "The offense is improved, the quarterback has a huge dick, this team should roll the conference--oh, but he's lazy and Ty 2.0."

I don't need need to Troll. The networks were doing cut ups of Morris' over-throws last season. Coach Pete was asked what he recruits in a QB and he said "QB has to be accurate" that is the antithesis of Morris. Watching him throw that post to Giles was like watching Shaq try to nail a free throw. Morris has to think about his mechanics on mid-range and longer throws and when he's off target on crossing routes it's really bad.greenblood said:

The team you lost to is not a run of the mill FCS team. The Griz will dominate all of of FCS this year. Bring it on boys, No pac 12 team could beat the Griz in Missoula, not one.

This isn't a reason it's baseless conjecture. Ty got fired and few people questioned it they understood. Jimmy has stumbled out the gates not in areas that a HC must do as far as coaching staff personnel and vision. Poor execution is 100% on the coaches. Their job is to ingrain execution in the players. Any failure by the players to execute is a coaching failure.DawgDaze71 said:

Bullshit. There was a push to fire Tyrone before the 0-12 season because he was obviously a shitty coach. Many people cried racism and the program was subsequently driven to its lowest depths because UW couldn't fire the guy without being labeled racist.DawgDaze71 said:
