Who's going to lead the "Go Huskies" chant?

RIP Thomas
I actually had the chance to speak with him a couple of times. He was friendly, engaging, had an outstanding personality and was a diehard, passionate Husky.
He will be missed. -
When practices were open he would always greet everyone with a smile. Just a great guy and got a chance to talk to him a few times. Will miss seeing him on the sidelines with his suspenders.

We were Tyee members and he kept us out of a Rose Bowl practice in '92.
Unforgivable. -
Abner was a unique guy. He retired from the Army around 72, worked as a cop at SEATAC for a few years and then came over to UW around or shortly after Don James arrived.
I last talked to Abner in 2012 and as far as I knew, he kept on working probably up until about the time he died. -
Very nice guy, passionate dawg fan, players really liked him but I don't think many people know what he actually did. Had a pretty kush job. Sad news.
-
What exactly did he do? I had never even heard of him. The Times was vague and said he was an athletic department special assistant.

He was a guy that did a little bit if everything, I stopped by the football hall of fame building one day and saw him. He was manning the front desk. At practices, he'd be at the gate overseeing the student assistants giving out the rosters.
I'd guess he did more before he hit his 80s but that's what I knew of him.
