Killing People Is Harder Than You'd Think

It's silly to argue either way. Let individual states decide on it. If you don't like the death penalty, you can go commit murders in a state that doesn't have it.allpurpleallgold said:There is no forfeit. No inherent justice. If one man commits a murder and is punished by 100 men to death, what's left is 100 murderers.
The hypocrisy of law, saying it's wrong to kill therefore we will kill, is disgusting.
As a race we should strive to be better than that.
I will say one thing, though. We keep the peace with war, don't we? Some people only understand violence. It's ridiculous to apply the morals of rational minds to those who have none. I say let 'em fry. But that's just my opinion.

The death penalty has been shown to be inaffective in disincentivizing capital crimes, and only credulous idiots actually believe that war keeps the peace. Ask Iraq how that works.

Explain how punishing someone to death isn't a murder without using a logical fallacy. GOOD FUCKING LUCK.
How exactly is putting someone in prison for life tolerating murder? But since it's so important I would imagine you have a ton of evidence that shows the death penalty deters murder. Link? -

I thought only Mike Damone demanded links. My first priority is to puff some green. Maybe if I feel like it I'll do some research. This is just an opinion after all.allpurpleallgold said:Explain how punishing someone to death isn't a murder without using a logical fallacy. GOOD FUCKING LUCK.

I'm not super pro capital punishment, but I think the logical fallacy in this one is "death penalty = murder". We accept that government is allowed to do things individuals can't do literally every single day of our lives. -
Legality rests on the credibility of the state, strange argument for a libertarian to make.PurpleJ said:

We shouldn't be keeping the peace with war.
What I think is ridiculous is to think that because someone is irrational, morality no longer applies. -
Eloquently put. Logically unassailable. Nailed. Someone get APAG a coffin ASAP.dnc said:
