I limit my time in the tug/politics/buddies at Fox and Newsmax because I just want to pull my fucking hair out given all the stupidity and hypocrisy. Yet, I don't want to live in a bubble like an alarming amount of my fellow Americans do. It's a delicate balance.
There is no hypocrisy when a Conservative discusses Chicago. Trump offered help, it would never matter who offered help from the Right. The left doesn't want to solve the problem. To do so would hurt their voting base. Its really simple, they want to keep black people killing black people because it allows them to continue to create victims and votes.
No one on the left on this site can explain why the lefts leadership has never helped South Chicago. To do so would be to lose votes. The KKK is alive and well on the left.
No less than Barack Obama was trashed when he tried to talk about this problem, ever so briefly, during the 2008 campaign. He never mentioned it again and he did nothing to try and discourage the number of out of wedlock births during his entire 8 years in office.
Having the club of being able to blame all of your problems on whitey is just too valuable a political tool to give up. And that's why the left doesn't ever want to talk about what's going on in Chicago, or Detroit or DC or Philly other than to use them as a call for more gun control.
To address the source of the problems in Chicago and Atlanta and Oakland would take real courage and it would take away the most potent tool the left has. The ability to blame RACISM!!! for being responsible for every problem facing the black community.
Why would the left want to stop doing this? It's working for them.
