Doba was MIA his last 2 years there due to his wife’s illness and death. Anyone left that was talented, was a POS for the most part and got ran off by Wulff. Culture change and training tables ya know.JoeEDangerously said:

Cougs averaged about 260 lbs along the lines his first year. Didn’t get a whole better after that. The QBs were beaten so hard that there was open campus tryouts his 1st year as well. It really didn’t get much better after that with 4-8 his shining moment in Year 4.
Good guy on all accounts but nowhere near a D1 Head Coach. Leach recruited guys his 1st year that had more combined P5 offers than Wulff had in his 4 years combined.
