Bearded Bass Player Sells Couch

Some of my cousins followed them around every summer throughout the east coast and midwest in the late 70's early 80's.
They have documentary I believe on Netflix that is good as well.

Well shit.

They were actually going to tour and play at Tulalip and was strongly thinking of going.GrundleStiltzkin said:Well shit.

It was amazing when they embraced and dominated early MTV videos. The little band from Tejas as Steve Slayton called them became a super group

One of the first "real" concert experiences I had...In 75, they played at a raceway just outside Richland. The opener was pre-power-ballad REO Speedwagon. A buddy of mine and I hitch-hiked out there, and walked through a hole in the fence...it was insanity. Upon my triumphant return, I was grounded for a month...it was worth it.

The Netflix documentary is great. I watched it three times.

We’ll shit. My old man and I were just rocking out to Tush on the Yella piss hi fi just last week.

My brother bought the expensive tickets once were you get to meet the band. It was a good show. Afterwards we met the band, Billy was cool, but Dusty wanted nothing to do with it. You could tell he was done, and didn't look healthy.
Too band, great band.

This reminds me at a work place were we had nicknames for everyone. One girl was ZZ Top, because her sweaters would be kind of tight. In a good way.alumni94 said: -

I saw them at the Tacoma Dome on their Eliminator tour. We left after the concert, it was a great show as I recall, blew some lines, then drove up to the Mt. Ellinor trail head and climbed it in the dark. We had headlamps, but the moon was so bright that night that you didn't even need them once we got out of the trees.
I crashed out on a rock and woke up to a mountain goat licking my arm to get a taste of salt.

Pro tip, in a generationally mixed gathering, 81% of people will be quite happy with ZZ Top Greatest Hits on the hi-fi.

You have at least heard a riff from them. There was a car commercial that always played a few years ago.Doogles said:I've never heard a zz top song.

True. But “The Best of ZZ Top” is a far better collection. 70’s ZZ Top >>> 80’s ZZ Top.GrundleStiltzkin said:Pro tip, in a generationally mixed gathering, 81% of people will be quite happy with ZZ Top Greatest Hits on the hi-fi.
