Anyone who thinks they have enough info on Jimmy's coaching performance is kidding themselves.
He didnt hire splashy coordinators, his recruiting needs to be improved, and he's a 75% conference game winning coach in a global shutdown nightmare.

If he's average he has no choice but to stay

Jimmy has no power of his own yet which is why he was promoted

Jimmy is good at development, a good gameday coach most of the time (at least as an assistant), and a likeable, respectable person. His approach to recruiting and staffing is more similar to Ty than anyone. That's the only area where I can compare what I've seen so far to anyone. The rest is definitely LIPO.
