what country did this happen in?
If it was the USofA, the cop got fired because he failed to protect the guy that wanted to fight him -
Right. Because the police unjustly firing misbehaving cops is the prevailing phenomenon here, and there doesn't exist a long and documented history of the exact opposite happening.LebamDawg said:what country did this happen in?

Or just no public unions for police officers?
Teachers?
Firefighters?
Municipal employees?
State employees?
Federal employees?
Thanks . . .

Police unions have zero power in Kali. None.

Try backing it up with facts next time, deep thinker. -
GreenRiverGatorz knows all about police departments and what is going on . . . That settles it. No facts. No statistics. Strong feelings.Sledog said:Police unions have zero power in Kali. None.
What the hell do you know? ;-)
He gets his feeling hurt and calls me a geriatric fuckface. Isn't that ageist?
I'm crushed.
Somehow, I have the feeling he is being disingenuous about public employee unions other than the police.

What do you do for a living GRG?

This is completely and hilariously false. They just have less power than the OTHER public unions.Sledog said:Police unions have zero power in Kali. None.
Definitely should never have allowed ANY public unions. -
I don't disagree with you UW_Doog_Bot . . . But they're here; they're powerful and they aren't going away.

Still waiting for the long and documented history of the exact opposite happening, fuckface.
Do you have a clue of how many people work in city, county, state and federal law enforcement?
NY City alone used to have 25,000 sworn personnel.
Making blanket negative statements villifying law enforcement personnel is a disservice to the many good, honest, hardworking people who have been and/or are currently employed in law enforcement. -

We have all seen the role "blue" city mayors and city councils have had in castrating police departments and concurrently emboldening criminals, particularly if those criminals are black. In 2021, a crowd of all races pummeling a black perp who is attempting to bait a policeman into violence is extremely encouraging. -

GRG has very strong feelings about public unions. Just not a voting issue because of high character. Geezus.GreenRiverGatorz said:

And then you back up that position by voting for politicians who are totally beholden to public unions. That'll show them!!!GreenRiverGatorz said:

Please enumerate these powers? You do know that it is illegal for police to go on strike right? Strikes are the largest tool of unions. The greatest power the police union provides is a voice. Individual officers can't speak freely. The union board members can without repercussions. Did you know if the union and the city can't come to an agreement on a contract that the city simply imposes one? No input from the union. Bupkis. I've worked for extended periods without a contract while the city drags it's feet. I've gone as many as 8 years without a raise. I sure want to know where all this power lies! Fill me in I'll let the cops know!UW_Doog_Bot said:

In Kali the largest protection for police is the peace officers bill of rights.
https://cslea.com/legal/peace-officer-bill-of-rights/#:~:text=3302. (a) Except as otherwise provided by law,,of, the governing board of a school district.
You realize a police department is a paramilitary organization right? You realize they will order you to answer any questions they wish. You do not have the right to remain silent.
https://www.shouselaw.com/ca/defense/professional-licenses/internal-affairs/#:~:text=The Lybarger admonishment Just like any employee, a,silent, the cop can be disciplined for insubordination.
I've been Lybargered more than once. Happens after use of force cases of the more serious type. No fun. But I had zero worries.
You can be ordered in to work. Ordered to work whatever hours. Schedules can be imposed that weren't in the contract. There are legal recourses for abuses but they take a lot of time.
