Outside Huff, Malloe, and maybe Adams, the rest of our staff as recruiters are the equal of bringing a knife to gun fight and wondering why you lost.Tequilla said:

Doesn't change the fact that this is the third kid so far who has played Jimmy as a way of getting looks from bigger programs.
This is beyond embarrassing
We have a staff that just enjoys getting their shit pushed in on the recruiting trail
In the kids eyes they are just jag's. Good guys, good presentation, say all the right things, but when they leave their parents house, the family looks at each other and knows there was no connection between them, and says next. -

And Jimmy in the corner, watching.LB_33 said:For work I did a career fair recruiting visit at college station. Let’s just say I’ve seen NW girls for my entire life and I’ve seen TAMU girls for 3 hours in their student Union. The poonani in those 3 hours was better than the entire 42 years of my life in the NW. plus tamu chicks are apparently known for their promiscuity and parties. Wouldn’t take much to flip my cialis taking limp noodle, and I imagine one visit to a campus party would change every 17 year olds mind.

Chin'd for use of "poonani".LB_33 said:For work I did a career fair recruiting visit at college station. this whole staff needs to go. Fuck these guys.

This staff will do "good enough" with our stacked roster, then slowly the program will decline to shit. Perfect way to slowly lower expectations and settle in at 6-7 wins per year. Upper campus will be pleased. If we're recruiting average players, we won't have to pay themBeerThirty said:this whole staff needs to go. Fuck these guys.

Look, good for the kid. I mean, it's gotta be pretty awesome as an under-the-radar dude to be getting all this attention and offers from Texas and Michigan (#ItJustMeansMore).
I don't know if Pete would have taken his commitment, but I know he wouldn't stand for this visit shit. So how is that any different than Huff/Lake "parting ways" with him? Huff's our best recruiter (fuck off, @PostGameOrangeSlices), so I actually trust that he knows what he's doing. I realize it's not good to lose a local kid, let alone O'dea, and feeling like a Washington offer/commitment is lesser than those other ones.
But shit, I'd want to take those visits, too, if I was Nabou. -
Not awesome to get a decommitment from a 3* O'Dea OL. It's awfully warm for December though, so let's LIPO. Kid clearly made a kneejerk decision to commit to UW but got some ego-boosting offers and now wants to be courted, take visits, and chase tail. I can't blame him for that. It doesn't mean he doesn't like UW. If UW and Huff still want him, I bet he comes back around. Now, please, continue the meltdown.

The issue isn't with the kid. Good for him for getting all these offers and getting to tske visits. Clearly the kid is really good. The issue is with Lake allowing a kid to commit early without any due diligence. This is the third time this has happened in this recruiting cycle. 9t looks like fucking amateur hour with our recruiting.Beno4Life said:Look, good for the kid.
