What I'm hearing

Non Tequilla version is Sark was friend if you were good (be your butt buddy, made sure you got water when you were thirsty etc.). If you weren't good he didn't give a fuck if you were on the team and didn't try to coach you up.
The thing that resonated in the convos with these players (one may be a 4th year starting linebacker and the other may be named after an all time great center for the Lakers) is that they couldn't buy in to Sark's cheesy used car salesman pitch. Petersen is business and they say it is much more motivational.
Doog post of the day but IDGAF. It was a good convo learned a lot.

What a cool day for the Huskies man.

I wished I knew people.

Good info. It doesn't really tell us anything that wasn't already obvious regarding Sark, but it's good that the players recognize it as well. Sark was the same way with recruiting. Look no further than the Garnett and Banner fiasco. If it was a 4 or 5 star in state WR or RB instead of OL, Sark would not have let his LB coach be the only one in contact, like Cox was for Garnett and Banner. So glad we have a real head coach and not a fat, undisciplined QB coach running the program.
-
Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. It's telling because we want it to be telling. But these exact comments are made by players every single time there's a regime change. Sometimes they're telling, sometimes they're not. Time will tell.
Either way it will be interesting. -
Exact comments? I agree that players probably say positive things about every new coach, particularly if the previous coach was a d-bag.pawz said:Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. But I doubt anyone would say that "sark is business," at least in the same way they would say it about Peterson. Nobody with an IQ above Ryan Leaf would say the "exact" same things about these two coaches. Very different people. -

So what you're telling me is that Kim bought that cheesy used car salesman pitch and thinks Sark is his friend?CuntWaffle said:Ok so I have gotten to talk to a few defensive starters on UW lately and got the scoop regarding the coaching change.

The entire Husky nation had a big belly laugh in the media room over this.

Listen guys. This is 4th grade shit. Seriously embarrassing to read. If this board wants to stomp kim this is hardly advanced discussion. You guys look like a bunch of girls sitting around in kindergarden art class eating paste (which is symbolic as hell) throwing clay at each other. Grow the fuck up bitches, holy fuckall!Passion said:

Shaq will be running the ball this year. Cy (ILTCHT) is a HUGE leader for the QB spot. The defense feels like it is the best in the conference.
Timu told me something regarding how good Kikaha looks (he looks fucking huge BTW like almost 300 lbs muscle... Its nuts). He will have a monster year this year.
Kasen will be the leading yards receiver right in front of Ross who apparently will return at least 3 or 4 punts/kicks for TDs
Again this info may or not be good. Either way it will be interesting. -
Like I've said, I'm just an opening kickoff from full blown doog aids. This isn't helping.CuntWaffle said:

Ross still owes us a couple carryover wins from last year.
Hijack thread alert: Apple Cup '13 on Pac 12 net right now. 2 shitty coached teams. -
Wait wait wait. How could a Denver fan kid who would beat up a Seahawks fan on Super Bowl night POSSIBLY be a leader in #12Town? Everyone says that showed a real lack of leadership and loyalty to Seattle. Casts your whole report in doubt.CuntWaffle said:

We're fucked for the foreseeable future. We're doomed to a lack of leadership at the QB position for the next 5 years. We now have thug QB who likes to beat up 12s and then a kid coming in who has leadership and character issues because he won't even throw for teen boy stockers.GrundleStiltzkin said:
