Doing the Lord's work by lying is still the Lord's work in their minds despite the 9th Commandment against bearing false witness. When personal integrity is not considered to be a desirous human trait, that is what you get. I was raised differently and raised my kids the same way. How these people develop any degree of friendship or even a true romantic relationship is beyond me. Sitting in a drift boat with flea would be a nightmare.
