    How do they measure if someone is doped up on legal marijuana? Is there a legal limit for vehicle and boat operation?

    Blood tests. But they can't tell if it is from chronic use or acute intox. That's the problem.

    Ima moran and not sure I 100% understand. To clarify, you're saying finding tweed in the bloodstream doesn't tell investigators if they were high at the time of the assident or if they just happen to spend regular time with Billy Bong Thornton, right?

    Correct. And I think any amount in your system qualifies as "under the influence", though I'm not 100% certain.

    You are considered to be under the influence if you have a THC concentration of 5.00 or higher as shown by a blood test. You also could be arrested for driving under the influence if an officer believes you've been affected by marijuana use. Even if your THC level is under 5.00, you still could be arrested if you've used marijuana in combination with alcohol or another drug.

    Learn more online by looking up RCW 46.61.502."

    The only way you can be too stoned to drive, is if you suck at driving. Alcohol is different, because it affects your vision after a certain point.

    Seriously, it isn't that hard to keep the car in between the lines and follow the traffic laws. Just don't be a dumbass and speed.

    It says 5.0 nano grams. I assume that's the same unit of measure as the driving laws.
