Thanks Taft!

I don't think we've convinced anyone
-
i have a lot to say:
- this team sucks until they dont.
- crazy to not see michigan in either pole, i remember when sports writers loved harbs
- trooj at 12/sark at 13/miami ranked is a fucking joke but it wouldnt be a cfb preview without those teams ranked that high
- its alabama and the 24 dwarfs, aint shit changed
- nobody wins an offseason like mack brown
- i do think cinci is good and fickell can coach -

That holds all the appeal of Texas vs. Texas TechRaceBannon said:

Pre season polls are bad enough.
Now mediocre publications like SI's college channel are trying to get clicks for articles analyzing where teams are and aren't in such polls?
I always want us to win the Pac 12, now I want it even more so that mediocre publications like SI's college channel can then write articles about how the pre season polls were so wrong.

Was that yesterday? That's when the question came to mind for me. I'm over it now, but I also remember that phase.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Yes and no.
It depends. -

Bama ass blasts everyone this year. Cook it.
-
Bammer loses a lot, my guys. If Saban steamrolls CFB with this team, it will probably be his greatest feat yet.
-
UW will lose to unranked Michigan. It’s the script. We always lose to Michigan on the road.

From 1908 through 1916, Gilmour Dobie never lost a game as the University of Washington football coach. His record at UW: 59 wins, zero losses, three ties.
Washington’s unbeaten streak from that era remains the longest in the history of college football.
Washington’s 1915 team is one of the most dominant in college football history, finishing with 7-0-0 record and outscoring its opponents 274-14. That season opened with a dubious 31-0 win over Ballard High School (it wasn’t uncommon for college teams of that era to play high school teams), but it also included a 72-0 shellacking of California in Berkeley during the two schools’ first meeting as rivals in the Pacific Coast Conference, the precursor to what would become the Pac-12 Conference.
Two years later, in Washington’s first conference game after Dobie’s forced resignation, California stunned UW in Berkeley, 27-0. Thus ended the longest unbeaten streak in college football.
“WASHINGTON SUFFERS DEFEAT,” read the banner headline in The Seattle Times on Nov. 4, 1917.
UW hates football. Nothing has changed -

We essentially need better marketing. Shit just amazes and confuses me. Oregon is what, No. NINE in one of those things?
Just taking things somewhat objectively, this shit doesn't make sense. We finished better than Oregon just last year and have more all-conference (incl. honorable mention) players returning, including our fucking QUARTERBACK, yet somehow we are fringe top 25 while ASU and Oregon are top 15. WTF?
I'm not even saying we shouldn't be fringe top 25. DMo and our offense have to show more than last year. Our WRs need to step up. Our D needs to stop the run and get off the field better on 3rd down. But the idea that these other teams *that weren't as good as us last year* somehow leapfrogged us despite our having lost (checks notes) TWO guys of note is crazy.
Does everybody not realize the Ducks are starting a new QB? One that couldn't beat out the old QB who was so mediocre they ran him off? -

But for real for real, what mainly got RN fired was UW’s vehement hatred of winning. -
