I would be surprised. His misses were so bad. Like 3 feet long sometimes, off the side of the backboard others. To the side next time. I just don’t think he is a shooter.Tequilla said:Thing is that it would shock me if as a senior Battle scores 20+ a game and they win the Bog Sky because he can shoot the ball
Problem is that his shot selection is horse shit and as a result he shoots terribly from a % standpoint and then presses
He ain’t in high school anymore playing short slow WESCO white kids straight off the farm -

How the fuck does a guy who averaged 5.8 PPG have a management team?dnc said: -
Good news is he's already a terrible shooter so not much Hop can do to ruin him.FecalFeast said: -
He's more valuable as a signal to local guys that staying home is cool again than he is as an actual player. He's basically a slightly below average P5 player although admittedly that's better than what we had last year. I'm sure doogs love it.dnc said:

McDaniels goes #1 and wins NPOY.dirtysouwfdawg said:

Dawgs go to the F4.
6 guys will average 9 or more points. -
Yeah. I'm not sure getting this kid is all that much of an upgrade from lastvyear's players. Its cute that all these 206 kids are getting back together I guess.dnc said:

It'll be interesting to see how this team gels next year, especially with Hop's offensive prowess. Still no real low post players. If we can somehow get Bryson Williams and Beauchamp, the roster would look kind of decent (for one year). Only 1 scholarship available now unless Sorn isn't on scholly, I believe.
Should be better from the free throw line. We are longer so the defense should be better. I think this roster will still suck at shooting, which isn't a great recipe with no low post scorers. Rebounding was a big issue too and not sure I see much improvement there. -
They need to take Sorn off scholarship and bring in two serviceable bigs. Marjon is cool, but there's a lot of ifs, as to whether he can qualify. He's a good kid and working very hard now over in Yakima, so anything's possible.dawgs206 said:It'll be interesting to see how this team gels next year, especially with Hop's offensive prowess. The walk on kid's dad on dawgman now saying that Bryan Penn Johnson is transferring back to UW. Why would you even want that guy back?

Maybe he legitimately hated Dollar as much as I did.bananasnblondes said:The walk on kid's dad on dawgman now saying that Bryan Penn Johnson is transferring back to UW. Why would you even want that guy back?

I read that thread. Kim’s responses al had to do with BPJ being 7’2”. Not one poster pointed out how stupid that is and that a 6’9”+ guy (really 6’6” or taller) that could actually be good is always more valuable than a 7’2” stiff.bananasnblondes said:The walk on kid's dad on dawgman now saying that Bryan Penn Johnson is transferring back to UW. I saw some guys mentioning that it didn't make much sense. Kim quickly made them feel stupid by pointing out (repeatedly) that u can't coach 7'2". Can't argue that Kim, touche.RoadDawg55 said:

In defense of Lil Kim, based on BPJs first tim with the program it seems clear that Hop can't coach 7'2".rustysavage said:

Nice hustle getting back on D there...

Somehow UW is not picked for last place at Pac 12 media day. Cal Too High is less heralded.
UW had only 1 player receiving preseason accolades - Daejon Davis was all pac 12 honorable mention -
The position has officially been renamed Power-BottomDoog_de_Jour said:Our? new power forward.
#nextmanup -
This is the problem. It’s a solid team if they actually had a #1 option like Nowell. They will struggle to score. We have a bunch of 3rd and 4th options.bananasnblondes said:Somehow UW is not picked for last place at Pac 12 media day. Cal Too High is less heralded.

We also still have Hopkins. So there is that.RoadDawg55 said:

I predict they will also struggle to defend.RoadDawg55 said:

We just got a #WOOF from some kid who is not rated by any recruiting services (we beat out Boston College and Cleveland State).
Also sounds like UW had a secret scrimmage against Boise and did pretty well
