If you read the specifics of the green new deal, carbon emissions are to be cut 100%. They say meat production contributes 15% of emissions. How do you get to 0 without reducing meat production? Meat production emissions are actually closer to 3%. If you farm the correct way the soil sequesters carbon. But when you do mass production farming and then till the shit out of of the soil you release carbon. Farming livestock and produce actually works very well for climate done correctly.
Why is Billy gates buy 690,000 acres of farmland and investing millions into fake meat? He will be growing soy to meet the demand for chemical patties. Plus China wants soy.

Look at the war on Bitcoin now. What about the server farms for Google, Apple, FB, Twitter, Amazon, netflix, Disney+, Alibaba and the list goes. Everytim you fire up a search on google you are contributing to emissions, everytim you watch your favorite movie on Netflix for the 5th time you are contributing to the death of civilization.
I hear these leftists go on about the climate but they are on Instagram and snap all day. What is that doing to the environment? I push back on this stuff and the response from these leftists do-gooders is anger. They shut down and say they don't want to talk about it. All these people buying Apple products made by slaves brought over on tramp steamers polluting the ocean.
