I was the one that pointed out that most states specifically authorized by legislative statute that governors had the right in emergency situations to issue executive state orders to deal with the emergency for a period of 30 days. Oregon did that. Then Shut Down Kate Brown never went back to legislature. She was sued, but the Oregon Supreme Court (like the vast majority of Courts) ruled that she had an innate ability to extend the emergency period. At this point, Brown's orders in Oregon have no legislative or Constitutional authorization. Scratch a leftist like GRG, find a fascist. The state theoretically has specific limitations on it's powers.
