Ireadlistened a book about a year ago about endemic influenza. If I remember correctly, there's very little diagnostic testing for flu. It's almost entirely diagnosed by symptoms. Also, the hometowns of Super Bowel participants have an uptick of flu following the game. Also, tamiflu is mostly worthless. Anyhow, if no one is going to a doctor, could be a detection bias. -
I’ve been saying for months that the absence of the flu is interesting and if we were replacing flu and COVID with other terms it’d be a logical conclusion to look at the effects of substitution
As we eventually return to normal, will be interesting to see if the flu continues to be largely eradicated -
