The citizens need a mechanism to remove the President, and other solutions

I'm not suggesting coups or violent takeovers. At all. What I'm suggesting is using the democratic process to peacefully remove a president when it's clear that he really needs to go before his term is over. I believe a certain amount of signatures should be gathered (a very high amount, as this is a serious action), and once they are, a nationwide vote will be held on impeaching and removing the president effective immediately. We really do need such a process to remove 'leaders' that have grossly overstepped their bounds, that flagrantly disregard the nations laws and encourage others to do the same (including institutions like the IRS), and who do nothing to try to solve our very serious domestic and international problems. If a president can't even protect our own fucking border (WE'RE THE STRONGEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND WE CAN'T PROTECT OUR OWN BORDER??1!!) he needs to get the fuck out, and he needs to do it now. We can't trust the inept cronies and stooges in congress to start the process, much less see it through when it needs to be done in a timely manner.GrundleStiltzkin said:
Strongly disagree. That inevitably degenerates in a series of popular coups. You want these guys doing it the next time around?oregonblitzkrieg said:The lawless cretin in the oval office needs to be removed. We all know what he has done and not done. Even retarded liberals know that he needs to go. We need to:
1.) Put in the constitution a mechanism that allows the citizenry to go over the heads of their corrupt and inept "representatives" and directly vote to impeach and remove a president when he becomes so detrimental to the country that he needs to just go. If the vote is to remove him, he packs his bags and leaves immediately. Door. Ass. Out. He will be replaced by the next person down in the hierarchy until an emergency nationwide interim presidential election can be held.
The ideal is a limited and constrained government that really doesn't matter much to routine life. -
That's just an ideal. It's not the reality. And we need to act against the reality.GrundleStiltzkin said:oregonblitzkrieg said:The lawless cretin in the oval office needs to be removed. We all know what he has done and not done. Even retarded liberals know that he needs to go. We need to:

If only there was some kind of mechanism in place. Like some kind of vote or something. They could do it every four years. Yeah that's the ticket. Obama would never win one of those.

I agree with this comment in theory, if not in practice. After all, Arizona fired the Wrong Stoops mid-season.oregonblitzkrieg said:
