“He should have shot the knife out of her hand”

1. Fired a “warning” shot
2. Shot the girl with the knife in the knee cap
3. Shot the knife out of her hand
These people need to stop watching so many fucking John Wick movies and playing Resident Evil games. It just baffles me that people think this is how stuff works in real life.

Because I am old I watch the old folks network CBS. On SWAT this week the opening is a kid shooting up a park and the SWAT team comes in and asks him politely to stop. He keeps shooting so the SWAT sniper shoots the gun out of his hand from 50 yards.
Later they are taking down some white supremacists and body mass shoot the lot of them
The FBI reboot has had 9 episodes and 8 different white supremacist groups causing malarkey. The real FBI signs off on the show

These are not operative, actualized people.

White supremacists are the biggest threat we face in this country. I feel that's true so you need to accept my feelings.RaceBannon said:Because I am old I watch the old folks network CBS. As far as Resident Evil is concerned, it really depends which games in the series you're referring to.
The first 5 or so games in the series were actually the opposite of what you describe. You had little control over targeting specific areas. For example, you couldn't target a zombie's head with the pistol. You could with the shotgun, though.
But if you're talking about Resident Evil 4 (which was like the 5th or 6th release) and beyond, then yes, you could target hands and limbs and stuff way more.
Personally, I like the older style where you mostly had to shoot out of panic. The game shouldn't be about being a marksman. It should be a survival horror.

I’m definitely a video game superiority guy in some areas, but RE is not one of them.CuntWaffle said:

TV shows really screws up police work and public expectations.
When NCIS came out people who were victims of a burglary would want to know if we we're going to beyond the laser in to look for prints. There might have been one in L.A. county but they don't bring it out for minor burglaries! After one looks at the surfaces touched you can see if they wetter wearing gloves most did but it was often socks worn over the hands as well. There still want you to first for prints. That dust is hell to clean up! But we don't do clean up. -

No win situation. The cop uses non lethal force and the victim is killed, he was complicit of the murder of a black woman. He shoots and kills the suspect, he needlessly killed a black woman.

I'd like to remind everyone here of the John Wick rule. If mentioning the movies, they must be spoken of positively. No other set of movies in the last 10 years has had so little of bullshit side love story, and just straight gratuitous, enjoyable, violence/action. Please remember this when posting in the future. In short, John Wick is to be revered. Nothing else.
On a side note I find most women hate it and most men do. Maybe 10% of men don't. What's the statistic? 1 in 10 men is gay? -

And there was a love story...he loved his late wife, and the dog. In fact, I would argue it’s more romantic than most Rom-Coms. Wick left the assassin business because he wanted to marry his love, and crime boss gave him a bunch of impossible tasks to be released from his service.
I could only dream a guy would murder *one* man with a pencil for me, never mind *three*. 🥰❤️💕✏️☠️☠️☠️ -
