ZTF carted off

Excuses for the season beginning early I see

Was it a running back that did it, or a wide receiver? I always hear about those guys breaking defenders' ankles...
(John Ross vs. the entire Cal defense in 2016 comes to mind...) -
While that is definitely the worst case scenario, typically you can walk on a torn achilles. ZTF reportedly was not weight bearing, more likely a sprain or fracture.Mooser42 said:Non contact and ankle? Achilles....

Good thing Trice is better than Joe Tryon.

Could be a high ankle sprain. Technically your ankle runs all the way up to your knee. I got my first one at age 23 playing soccer (after years of scoffing at players who sat out with high ankle sprains...I figured it was like rolling your ankle bad in basketball).Mooser42 said:Non contact and ankle? Wrong...wrong.
I could have sworn I blew my knee out. Couldn’t walk for a week. Was back to playing within 8 weeks with good PT. -
You played soccer? Please tell me you played football too.ntxduck said:
