Few to UW would make sense

Dawg sense. Hot take alert.

He can't get the athletes necessary to go to Spokane. Talent-bed in Seattle has plenty. If Few wants a championship he should have his agent looking for a gig somewhere else. North Carolina should've waited a few days before making a hire.

He will win a title. You read it here first. Just like Bennett ball would never get it done ... at Wazzu.

Bennett ball also got a really good no call on a double dribble. That being said (JBS), the move to Virginia was the appropriate move.

Bennett ball gets them high seeds in the tournament every year. They eventually got thru. It will happen at Gonzaga. The big time talent started with Suggs and will continue to come.

They likely have two top 10 recruits on their roster next season. They will always develop other guys.

Bennett literally has a much deeper recruiting base and appeal at UVA. UVA has a much better hoops history than WSU. It isn't close.

Baylor virtually returns everyone and also has two top 25 recruits. Michigan is bringing in top recruits. UCLA and Duke have top recruits. You gotta strike while the irons hot.

Did you watch the game? They could not come close to matching Baylor's foot speed, nor handle Baylor's defensive pressure. Gonzaga had Suggs who could handle and create, but not another person on that team could both get their own shot and actually make it. Baylor had four guards who could all do that.

Yeah, I know. If he really wants to win a title he will leave, though. Hence my point about UNC.

I disagree. Their recruiting has gotten drastically better these past few years. They used to rely heavily on international players and transfers. Now they're getting 5 stars. I think they win one in the next couple years

This. He us only 59 later this year. He has a good five or six years left if he doesn't burn out first. And, really, playing half a dozen games per year shouldn't really burn any coach out.

Baylor blew the doors off them, but if you think that means that Gonzaga doesn't have the horses to win it all then I just can't follow your logic. Gonzaga butt fucked Kansas earlier and clearly had dudes all year. They just simultaneously choked and played arguably the best champion of the last decade.

Gonzaga leads for Homgren and there is another top 10 guy going there. Gonzaga is going nowhere. The doogy hate is stupid.

They ran into a really good team and lost. They beat USC by 20. The same USC that beat Kansas by 30+. All the talk about Gonzaga not being athletic enough is archaic bullshit and wishful thinking. You think it’s true because they lost to Baylor, but it’s not.

The best champion the past ten years was Villanova in 2018. They blew out everyone in the tournament.

Kentucky in 2012 had a great team too. Baylor was definitely good. Gonzaga wasn’t playing their best ball when they needed to.

Only one guy (Suggs) could handle the pressure. Baylor was in their chests and Zag players could not get past them or initiate their offense. It was glaring. They also didn't have guys on defense who could keep up in isolation. Baylor guards all had 20+ pounds of muscle on their counterparts and were faster. Maybe Baylor was that one team in 20 years, but I don't think so. UCLA also exposed Gonzaga's inability to defend.

Homgren is 7 feet and weighs 195. He is doing nothing in the near-term. Zags are sorely lacking wing players who can defend and shoot 3's. Kispert couldn't keep up on defense and choked all game.

They lost one game. You fags never have any analysis for when Kansas, Michigan State, etc lose. No big statements that they will never have the athleticism.

Ayayi is really good and probably a first round pick but still. The Florida transfer was a five star. Kispert played bad in the tournament. It’s hard to win when a guy a team depends on struggles.

They got beat by a better team. Gonzaga is still one of the premier programs. There really isn’t a better program set up for success the next five years. They lost. That’s it. There is nothing to take from the loss.

I agree their bread and butter is international and transfers.

ha ha. Duke could very well get three top 10 recruits. I'd take Banchero over Homgren.

In 05 UW beat Oregon State by 40, then lost by 17 in the rematch. Team A beats Team B who beat Team C who beat Team D who beat Team A is one of the poorest arguments in sports.

I agree with your final paragraph, just saying Gonzaga didn’t lack the athleticism to beat really athletic teams before Baylor.

They are really fucking good. You guys are doogs and still hate on them. Carry on.

Gonzaga was really good this year. However after watching Baylor beat Villanova I was very confident they would be overmatched vs Baylor. Baylor was extremely athletic. That said the zags were athletic enough to beat any other team sans Baylor.

All this talk of few will never get it done is stupid. He may not but he has lost a 50/50 game with his pg playing injured down the stretch for the title to unc.

Single elimination is cruel to some coaches as you really just have to consistently get to the final four and you will break through. But you will lose a lot too.

Same shit about never gonna win was also said about roy williams, bill self, lute Olsen, boeheim and Calhoun before they all won their first. This Gonzaga team probably beats anyone except Baylor. Baylor was Really good.

    What’s your point?

Unless they win the big one they’re Ccllege basketball’s 1990’s Buffalo Bills, destined to be a forgotten historical footnote.
