If you took that 42 racks away from the owner how much would he pay to get it back?
The four seasons had a policy when I worked there that if you reported cash or electronics left in the room safes they were held for 6 months to a year depending on the value, if it remained unclaimed it would be given to the person who found it in full.
All kinds of stories where people stayed under alias and left 50k behind and never came back for it. -
