I know that there’s a lot of conversation out there about work to be done on I-45 in Houston is being called out due to its planned displacement of about 1,000 households that are primarily people of color

You'll be shocked to learn this but when they build highways, or waste disposal plants, or rail lines, rarely do they ever build them where rich people live.

Near where I live they have a refinery. It's in Richmond, California. The refinery has been there for over 100 years. When it was first built there were few if any people living there. During the war thousands and thousands of people moved to Richmond to work in the shipyards. They moved to where the refinery was. The refinery didn't come to them. After the war the shipyards closed and many of the people who moved to Richmond stayed there. Now the people of Richmond scream "environmental racism" because there is a refinery where they live.

Don't forget racist pools, lakes, oceans.

The list of racist things far outnumbers non-racist things at this point.

We should just keep a list of the 11 or 12 things left in America that aren't racist, and conclude everything else is racist. Way easier. .
