love that song - not when it came out but do now

I find it amazing how songs with dirty lyrics became so popular.
Of course they are not as bad as current songs.
Cardi B. "Up"
Tatt'ed on my ass 'cause I really like the pain (ah)
He nutted on my butt, I said, "I'm glad that you came"
If that nigga had a twin, I would let 'em run a train, woo (skrrt)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCiBgLOcuKU

Now, yes - but they played the shit out of it on MTV/radio back then. Annoyance level high at the time.LebamDawg said:love that song - not when it came out but do now

My friend and myself were "nerds" during middle school. For a month we kept track how often a song was played on MTV. Come On Eileen was the winner by a long shot. Record Company must have been getting a lot of them.PurpleThrobber said:

One of the catchiest singles of the early 80's rather easily.
-
One of the top ‘one hit wonders’ of the ‘80s.

I liked it because I’m fairly certain Eileen was going commando beneath those overalls.YellowSnow said:One of the catchiest singles of the early 80's rather easily.

It plays in our house because I'm married to Eileen (NOT the one in the video, and NO pics)...

Don't know if youse guys remember Video Jukebox, it was a request type thing...as a young man with roommates, we would bet on video counts, and there were days that the only three videos they played, for hours, were Mother, Compton City G's, and Put 'em on the Glass...csbalumni94 said:

EDIT: One of said former roommates calls me, to this day, and leaves vm of Mother, at full volume, every time he hears it on radio... -
Nobody here would ask for pics of your wife. What kind of unethical, immoral, cesspool do you take this for?Fishpo31 said:It plays in our house because I'm married to Eileen (NOT the one in the video, and NO pics)...

I actually saw these guys at some KXRX $5 show (or something like that). A few bands but I think they were the headliner.
