It's not exactly a secret how he did it and the thousands of black lives he saved. It wasn't by abandoning neighborhoods to armed criminals and a catch and release approach to arresting felons.

Apply the same delusion and out of touch with reality and common sense the left applies to most all issues. Homelessness. The left's policy prescriptions are guaranteed to increase the number of homeless. Same with welfare. The left is never held to any standard regarding if their "solutions" actually work, their stand is always does it make them feel better about themselves and does it give the appearance that they care and are concerned.

And does it provide jobs for their supporters in government and the associated private sector welfare industry - like food stamps and the ag lobby and supermarkets and convenience stores.

Yep, as soon as you come to the realization that they don't really care about fixing a problem, they care about throwing money at a problem that will benefit their supporters and their campaign coffers it makes better sense.
