This is what will have the "full faith and credit of the US govt" in shambles. Debt service could/will become a multiple of the defense budget.

Agree it’s nuts...they will do something crazy to tap it down as neither the Fed nor the Govt can afford for that to go too high. They keep having to do wilder and wilder things to try to “control” things so it will be interesting to see what they come up with.
The longer term exponential plot is what scares me...the 20 year Global Central Bank debt chart. It’s exponential and we are just at the elbow up...think it’s going to run hard the next couple years until they run out of crazy schemes to try and “fix” things. Then it gets really ugly.
