What are your thoughts on Riva's return and can he be the cornerstone of the OL?

What are yours?

I thought Riva was our best OL last year and I really liked Criste and the end also. Concerns about Hatchie, Atoe and the center position though.

He's not great, but he is arguably our best lineman. He lacks strength, but for the most part, is solid. We played much better last year once he came back from injury, although our schedule was much easier once he came back.
The OL is going to be no better than average (at best) this year. It is nowhere near a championship caliber OL. -
Unfortunately I think offensive line recruiting has been the number #1 failure of the Sark era. We do not have 1 guy who would be considered an NFL prospect. And we always hear about these under the radar recruits, but not one of them have been developed into an all Pac 12 player.
Hope I am wrong, but I have very little confidence in this group protecting the QB. -
I think Riva could be pretty solid...obviously needs to be healthy, arm injury is a bit concerning. Maybe a third team all PAC 12 kind of guy.

I'm hearing that Atoe is a Top 5 pick!!!!!1IrishDawg22 said:Unfortunately I think offensive line recruiting has been the number #1 failure of the Sark era. Can we trade Cozz and a coach to be named later for Greatwood???
-
If he can pass block, that would be great.

He sucks like every other OL that Sark has brought in.
No need to further discuss. -
Witnessed Riva hot boxing his truck big time back in June. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
