Biden’s 1.9T Plan Includes 15 weeks PTO

....for federal employees with children who’s schools are closed due to COVID.

For as long as schools remain closed — and remember, the Biden administration’s kind-of-sort-of, wishy-washy contention is that they should until more money is spent, even though there remains over $100 billion in unspent education appropriations from the last relief bill — bureaucrats whose paychecks are provided by John and Jane Q. Taxpayer would be able to collect from the comfort of their own homes, where they supervise their children and catch up on their favorite shows. Again, it’d be difficult to devise a targeted giveaway more likely to inspire wrath and resentment.

Why wouldn't life time public employees steal from the hard working Private sector tax payer? They do it in many states already. Not one of these assholes has lost a job, millions in the Private sector have but they only get a pittance in comparison.

What is the cash value of 15 weeks PTO vs $1,400 stimulus checks? Why would Fed employees who are more likely to have a work at home option need this over a grocery store worker or UPS driver?

I can’t find anything about grocery baggers or meat packers getting 4 months of PTO to sit at home with their kids.

Maybe they’re more important to our nation than the tens of thousands of federal employees.

But let’s continue to grow government, even as they admit through their own graft that they’re totally dispensable...
