That said there will come a point where either Trump gracefully fades to the background or legit candidates need to have some kind of separation to him. The GOP will be hard pressed to win middle of the road voters in 2024 if there a perception that whatever candidate is just an extension of Trump. The successful candidate will need to be able to show some differences. -
