Went to The Wilsonville store quite a bit over the years and bought at least three laptops there as well as TVs, Blu-Ray discs, digital antennas, Corn Nuts standing in line to pay...

That Fucking sucks. Had not heard that.
Inevitable that we’ll see more of this. Can’t be contained to just the airlines and food services. -
I went in there a year or so ago and it was like mostly empty. Really weird.

Mostly empty of goods? Or mostly empty of people?Pitchfork51 said:I went in there a year or so ago and it was like mostly empty. Really weird.

Exact same in the renton store a year or two ago. Like a ghost town.Pitchfork51 said:I went in there a year or so ago and it was like mostly empty. Really weird.

I got a personal laptop early this century at Fry's. I liked them
Got my last one at Best Buy - tick tick tick -
Both. But yeah just a bunch of empty shelves and then a sad little corner with some stock.DerekJohnson said:

Got this on another bored. Interesting business approach over the last year...

Yes, like weirdly bare. Just a few items. Like the back wall with different motherboards had 1, just one motherboard. The tvs were all cheap Chinese brands.
I asked someone and they said they were a consignment store now. Meaning they get stuff and don't have to pay for it until it sells. No major manufacturer would agree to those terms so the few items that were there were cheap knockoff imports.
I went there last spring for PPE because of an ad and even that was shitty in quality.
Here is their latest ad. -
This...the one near NASA was pretty sweet in that it had a space capsule built into the front of it. Went in last summer to try and pick up a Bluetooth receiver for my friend’s old stereo and almost the entire store was empty. It was weird.Pitchfork51 said:I went in there a year or so ago and it was like mostly empty. Really weird.

Yeah it turns out it had been empty but ces was going on so they sent their stock to Vegas. So I didn't realize anything was wrong when I went. Then we desperately needed some cat6 cables like a week later and it was a ghost town haha
