Really, that is how bad it is right now. One of the bright spots of the US volunteer military was that we ended up with a great officer and noncommissioned officer class. These are your fighting leaders. With barry and whoever is running Biden they want all independent thought wiped out and an officer class of rent seekers spouting the tranny and feminist lie that they actually make the military better. Standards are dropped. Promotions are based on PC values. Forever wars are adopted because fighting to win means killing the enemy. Can't have that. Can't shoot first. Global warming becomes a top military goal. Buying used french fry oil at $26 a gallon to run destroyers is viewed as smart. At this point, why would you be proud of your kid for being an officer when the Commander in Chief and his minions view the military with disgust and you son is being sent off to Afghanistan to defend America against what? Syria? for what?
