Actually, there's nothing whatsoever "corrupt" about it. All presidents consult with family. In point of fact, there's precedent. Wilson's housewife literally ran the WH and country after his massive stroke.

Hell, with PIPS and Bubba we were told we were getting two for the price of one. What had PIPS accomplished other than marrying Bubba and then leaving him alone while she had Hubbell's kid. Ivanka was an accomplished business woman who was smart and intelligent. Sort of like Madeline Albright, except smart and attractive. I don't like a lot of Ivanka's and Kushner's Bush like beliefs, but competency isn't a question. Of course, Lt. Worf's job to keep the trash out her hospital for a few hundred thou a year was based on her great resume - married to barry.
